A.C.S. Gymnasts shine at International competition
Gymnasts Johan Rossouw, Jaryd Mostert and Lianne Verwey came home with a total of 13 apparatus, podium and team medals from the Zone 6 International Competition last week in Walvis Bay.
Seen here after the competition with Head and SA Coach, Alfie Schrickker, they made SA proud as they displayed their superb skills and talent against gymnasts from 5 neighbouring African countries.
Their respective SA teams also won overall Gold Medals thanks to their outstanding individual performances.
What an astonishing performance by A.C.S. Gymnasts
At the recent National Gymnastic Games held at the Velodrome, ACS gymnasts and tumblers excelled once again with 20 podium placings plus 85 apparatus medals.
Western Province Trials - results
Western Province trials took place at the Vellodrome on the 19th/20st August. I'm sure all the gymnasts enjoyed working on the new equipment! Well done to everyone who took part, everyone seems to be hard at work exercising their routines for the next competition, which is only two weeks later.
MAG Judging course resources
For those gymnasts who are attending the judging course this Saturday, it will help to know the routine syllabus, which can be downloaded from the link below. The course will be run by Kenny Williams, who has provided a powerpoint presentation that will be presented at the course, and includes all the resources that will be in the exam. About ACS
ACS offers gymnastics at creches and Pre-schools to enhance co-ordination, strength, suppleness and spacial awareness.
Classes are also offered for competitive gymnasts, from Entry level to Elite.
